Refreshing writing style draws you into the trip. You get to know Graham with all his quirks, fears and stereotypes. This is a motorcycle adventure travel book for novices and experienced riders alike. Graham's adventure ride shows again there are other books out there that make the same point that you don't need deep pockets and all the techno gizmo stuff. I encourage you to read it and come to your own conclusions.
And hopefully it gets you out on the road. I absolutely loved this book, written in a diary format, of his travels from the UK to Mongolia and then to Vladivostock through 14 countries on a used Kawasaki KLR that he picked up for pounds over E-Bay. Graham is a great writer and his use of cynicism and wordplay throughout makes for interesting reading, I found it tough to put it down. Now reading his next book Buy it, read it, you won't regret! Loved it.http://h2.hp.ctrader.com

Took the book on vacation - and it was all I had hoped it would be: Well written and Entertaining! Graham's writing is funny and honest. I in particular enjoyed the odd 'Billy Connolly style' reflective joke. Several other motorcycle travel books I have read have been disappointing towards the end: just like the end of a journey, the reading becomes hurried to get it over with.
